With a little determination and the help of a Cricut, Google Images, and my talented family we set out to create a homespun Peppa Pig 3rd Birthday Party. The TV series is about to hit the American market and as a result the Peppa Pig games and toys will be very sought after for pre-school children very soon. I hadn’t set out to make myself a cake challenge every year, however, I know I loved the cakes my mum made for my siblings and I as we grew up and I enjoy baking. So with this party we had to be really creative since there are no Peppa Pig party supplies in our part of the world. By adding photos taken with the LeapPad 2 camera, they can even include themselves as characters. In 1998, in Britain, two Tamworth pigs (one of the oldest pig breeds) managed to escape the slaughterhouse. Ms Capra must have some very self-controlled or completely humourless friends, since her name has ALWAYS been quite funny, but it was apparently only AFTER Peppa visited the Goat family in Italy that Ms Capra began to be taunted”, teased” and made an object of scorn”.
Unfortunately, it seems that this is still the situation with the LeapPad 2. So, you can create and watch your own videos and watch the LeapFrog movies/videos, but it appears that there’s still no option to store and play DVD converted content on the LeapPad 2. I suspect that the LeapFrog videos are of a proprietary format and that it would be very difficult, if not impossible to find a work-around to achieve this.
