Christopher is an expert on Cuba and Jamaica, as well as other venues in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Christopher was named Travel and leisure Journalist With the Year by the Jamaica Tourist Panel in 1998. He can here to discuss with all of us Jamaica.

Christopher:
My spouse and i grew up and was educated in England, where I started out my international travels while studying location at university. After living in California in 80, I worked briefly within the adventure travel industry. I’ve been a a lot of the time professional travel writer and photographer since 1982.
Though in my early job I specialized in experience travel, plus the Asia/Pacific region, during the past 12-15 years I have specific in the Caribbean, with a particular concentrate on and fondness for Cuba. My personal love affair with Tanque commenced with publication of my Moon Handbooks Tanque and Moon Handbooks Havana.
I’ve since written Domestic Geographic Traveler Cuba and Mi Moto Fidel: Motorcycling Through Castro’s Cuba, a literary travelog that earned both the Lowell Jones Award as Travel Publication of the Year and the American Travel Correspondents Association’s Grand Prize. My personal most recent book is Cuba Classics: A Party of Vintage American Cars (Interlink Books, 2004), a lavishly illustrated coffee-table publication.
I’ve authored numerous other books, including Lonely Globe’s guidebooks to Jamaica and The Bahamas and Turk & Caicos Islands, as well as the Passport Illustrated Guide to Jamaica. I’ve also written about Jamaica (and other Caribbean islands and international destinations) for dozens of leading magazines and magazine travel sections, including as a regular contributor to SkyWritings (Air Jamaica’s inflight magazine) and Caribbean Travelling & Life.
My other main expertise is in regard to Costa Sana. My first guidebook was the Moon Handbook Bahía Rica (first published as the Costa Rica Guide in 1992), now in its fifth edition, with almost 100, 000 replications sold. I’ve since published National Geographic Traveler Bahía Rica and the soon-to-be-released Eyewitness Travel Tips for Costa Rica (Dorling Kindersley), and possess acted as a consultant to INTEL, which recently opened a manufacturing plant in Costa Sana.
