Business Insider used Niche’s state filter to find out which college is the hardest to get into in each of America’s 50 states and the District of Columbia. Big state schools dominated the list, with the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison earning the top three spots.
